Celebrating the Best in the Christian Press

It’s time to choose your best work of 2011 for the annual ACP "Best of the Christian Press" awards competition for publication members — newspapers, newsletters, magazines, journals, news services, E-zines and Web sites. The Awards Committee has enhanced the entry categories to make the awards experience the most rewarding ever for ACP members.

We also plan to continue out on-line submission process for easier sorting and judging of entries, to help make this year's awards program fiasco free.

Eligible entries are due January 21, 2012. Winners in the categories of journalistic and creative writing, theology, design, marketing, and overall Best in Class will be announced at the annual Awards Banquet at the April 2012 convention in Chicago.

ACP awards dinner draws 125 members

More than 200 entries won awards in the most recent “Best of the Christian Press” competition sponsored by the Associated Church Press (ACP) — the oldest and largest religious press association in North America. The 95-year-old association presented the awards during its annual convention, meeting with the Canadian Church Press April 27-29 in Chicago.

ACP member publications’ and individual members’ work done in 2010 were eligible for the awards. A panel of independent judges chose winners from more than 1,000 entries in 60 categories.
