Gordon
Atkinson, pastor and web
designer, is one of the most
successful bloggers in religious
communications. He received rave
reviews from ACP members who heard
him speak at our professional
development workshop in October, and
we are looking forward to hearing
more
from him at the upcoming convention.
His online musings have crossed into
the print world, with a collection
of his essays in a book called,
appropriately, "RealLivePreacher.com."
He writes regularly for The
Christian Century (Look for the rlp
icon on their Web site). Recently he
had an essay published in The
Wittenburg Door, "which was a thrill
for me since I've been a fan of that
magazine since the early 1980s," he
said.
His session on blogging would be
useful to publishers large and small
-- from congregational newsletter
editors to wire-service managers who
are encouraging correspondents to
blog.
