The association is looking for people who have some familiarity with the Catholic church, so as to effectively judge the content, but you don’t have to be Catholic. Also, looking for people with journalism experience.
The gig pays nominally – $3.50 per entry, except the student division.

All of the details about the programs are below. The following divisions all have a few categories that need coverage. We are especially looking for Spanish speaking judges and those who are comfortable judging reports as well as multimedia entries.
Judges are paid $3.50 per entry. For our student division, we aren’t able to pay judges since students are allowed to enter for free.

· All Member: For the Individual Excellence and Digital categories
· Newspapers: For print or digital work that is published in a member newspaper.
· Magazines and Print Newsletters: For work published in a member magazine or printed newsletter.
· Communications: For Organizational Communications Members to submit work that is separate from any work that appears in a publication.
· Spanish Language: For content created for a Spanish-language member publication.
The judging period will run from Saturday, March 1, to Monday, April 7, 2025, at 11:59 p.m. CT. In early January, you’ll receive further details, including category preferences, entry counts, and access to the judging portal, which opens March 1.
