Convention

New for 2026, ACP joins with Canadian Christian Communicators Association (CCCA) for a combined conference which brings together journalists, content creators and decision makers from religious news media organizations across North America in a two-day in-person conference. Sponsorship provides maximum exposure for your organization to your target market and represents your commitment to religious news.

The Associated Church Press will hold its 2026 convention May 13 – May 15 in Toronto, Canada with the theme Reaching Across Divides. We will be using the facilities of St. Paul's Bloor Church and our conference hotel, the Town Inn Suites, with a program focused on journalism and publishing skill development and knowledge sharing.


Religious news organizations and journalists will come to Toronto to connect with and learn from one another. Space is available for news organization meetings on Wednesday afternoon.



Over 15 sessions, spanning topics such as grant funding, using AI, audience demographics, workflows and more will be covered on Thursday and Friday, culminating in our Awards Celebration Friday night.
