Buchanan was the pastor of Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago, Ill., the second largest congregation in the Presbyterian Church. He is also the retired editor and publisher of The Christian Century. AND he will lead opening worship at the next annual ACP Convention. April 26-28 in Chicago.
